Call for Papers - 2010 International Conference on Accounting and Information Technology

The trends of rapid adoption of the Internet, the internationalization of accounting systems, and the implementation of IFRS in the business industry have brought about changes and challenges in the conduct of business. Enterprises certainly have to take steps as earlier as possible to avoid marginalization. On the other hand, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Accounting System, as well as Green IT, all of which have attracted much awareness in many countries, have become the key management topics for a wide range of businesses and organizations in the era of Neo-Economics. Governments and corporations around the world are still seeking for solutions to these problems and challenges, in light of the recent economic recession and world job losses caused by recent global financial crisis.

While many companies are facing a future of great uncertainty, Enterprise Risk Management implementation thus becomes critically important as a tool for businesses to meet goals of organizations in today's risky and complex environment. In this context, the theme of the conference will be Accounting Revolution and Enterprise Risk Management in Neo-Economic Era which aims to bring together experts from business industry, government, and education to provide solutions through papers, keynotes, debate and workshops. The best papers of the conference will have priorities to be published in journals that are well-known domestically and internationally.
